
Liu Chang is an Associate Professor in the Convergence Publishing Department of the School of Journalism and Communication, and serves as a Master’s Supervisor. She earned her Master’s degree in Communication from the University of Rennes 2 in France and her Ph.D. in Management from Wuhan University.
Her primary research focuses on publishing management and operations, as well as children's book publishing and children's reading. She has authored more than ten articles published in leading academic journals, including Publishing Industry (Renmin University Reprint Materials), Publishing Research, and Publishing Science. Dr. Liu has led four research projects at the provincial/ministerial level and several at the departmental level. She is also the author of two monographs: Mirror of Childhood: The Construction of Children's Book Publishing and Reading Culture in China (China Social Sciences Press) and Research on the Comprehensive Evaluation System for the Competitiveness of Chinese Publishing Groups (Zhejiang University Press).
