
Yuan Lin is an Associate Research Fellow and Master's Supervisor at the Publishing School of Zhejiang University of Media and Communications. She earned her Ph.D. in Literature from Shanghai University, conducted postdoctoral research at Fudan University's School of Journalism, and was a Visiting Scholar at the University of Southern California, USA. Her professional roles also include serving as a Part-time Lawyer at Zhejiang Taihang Law Firm, an Advisor to the Film and Television Culture Working Committee of the China Culture and Arts Development Association, and a Part-time Researcher at the New Media Data Research Institute of East China University of Political Science and Law. She holds multiple professional credentials, such as the Legal Professional Qualification, Advanced English Interpretation (Written Exam), Securities Practitioner Qualification, Psychological Counselor (Level 2), Tax Agent Qualification, and Certified Public Accountant certification. Her primary research focuses on copyright trade, digital copyright, entertainment law, and media governance. She has contributed to the completion of 4 major National Social Science Fund projects, led 3 provincial/ministerial-level research initiatives, and undertaken 2 projects for local governments. Additionally, she has authored more than twenty academic papers published in journals including Publishing Research, China Publishing, and Contemporary Cinema.
