
Liu Shanshan is currently pursuing her Ph.D. at Curtin University in Australia. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Radio and Television Journalism from Zhejiang University of Media and Communications in 2007, followed by a Master’s degree in Communication from the University of Leicester, UK, in 2009. Upon completing her studies, she began her career as an editor at World Affairs Press under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During her time there, she contributed to several notable projects, including Sailing Ahead: Ten Records of China's Diplomacy, which was funded by the National Publishing Fund in 2010, and One Hundred Questions about Tibet, which received the Beijing Publishing Project Award in 2011. Her research interests lie mainly in environmental communication, social media communication, and visual culture.
