
Yu Bo, Ph.D., is an expert in Information Science. He earned his doctorate from the School of Information Management at Wuhan University. His research focuses on Scientometrics and Intelligent Evaluation, Data Science and Intelligent Decision-Making, Data Metrics and Academic Discourse Power Evaluation, as well as Competitive Intelligence and Knowledge Management.
Dr. Yu furthered his research as a state-sponsored visiting scholar at the School of Library and Information Science (EBSI), Université de Montréal, Canada, collaborating with Professor Vincent Larivière, a leading Canadian scientist in informetrics. He currently serves as a Supervisor for the Zhejiang Provincial Information Resources Management Society. Recognized for his academic impact, he is named a Highly Cited Scholar by CNKI and an Excellent Review Expert by Fanke.
He has led numerous research initiatives, including one National Social Science Fund project, three provincial-level projects, and several university-level grants. He has also contributed to multiple Major, Key, and General projects under the National Social Science Fund. His scholarly output includes over 30 papers in prominent domestic and international journals. Additionally, he has published commentary articles in China Social Sciences Today (reposted by official provincial platforms) and on Xinhua Net, authored one monograph with China Social Sciences Press, and co-authored six other books.
